Full-Time Students Finances

Students at RMSM can get their bachelor degree (four years) and participate in all school of leadership programs (including classes, trips, training, apprenticeship) for a total of ~$28,000, far lower than the national average cost. Associates degrees are nearly half the price, and federal financial aid can help pay for either degree. If you'd like more detail on how those finances are broken down, read below:

RMSM has two distinct, yet interwoven parts to our program. The first is courses with Lee University (online) and second is the RMSM Ministry Leadership Program, which produces credits towards your degree at a much cheaper rate. The cost breakdown of the program can be understood in two sections, Lee University costs and RMSM specific costs, both of which are paid each semester.

  • Lee University Cost and Finances:

Students with RMSM are also registered students at Lee, but RMSM students receive a large discount because our school is ministry focused. Lee University and Church of God (TN) have built this deal to give incentive for students to take part in Ministry Leadership Programs in schools like RMSM. Students pay Lee each semester for the courses taken online, about 70% of total expenses.

Lee University Cost/Per Credit Hour for RMSM students: $252.00 (both for Colorado residence and those who come to Colorado to join RMSM). Students may also apply for FASFA or other federal grants and loans to pay this cost. Comparison to other schools in Pueblo, CO, which is already on the cheaper side of education:

Colorado State University - Pueblo: Cost per credit hour ranges from $347-877 (depending on if you're from Colorado or out of state)

Pueblo Community College: Cost per credit hour ranges from $279-656 (depending on if you're from Colorado or out of state)

RMSM also provides credits through courses and apprenticeships, and those credits get transferred into your Lee University degree for only $50/credit hour. All degrees earned from RMSM are issued from Lee University, meaning those who graduate RMSM, get a degree from Lee University.

  • RMSM Cost and Finances:

RMSM expenses (Regional School of Leadership Programs) covers all other expenses related to the program, including but not limited to: Ministry training classes, in-person (accredited) college courses, education and mission trips, adventure outings, apprenticeship, disaster relief skill training, and more. The breakdown of cost is detailed on the following page.

In addition to lower cost per credit hour on Lee courses, RMSM students earn an average of 3 credit hours per semester from other RMSM classes and courses, totaling a value of $6,048.00. RMSM payments each semester are $800, or $200 per month over the semester. Students only pay this fee for the first two years, students who go into a third and fourth year at RMSM only pay an MLP fee of $200/semester, or $50/month.

Scholarship Funds for Ministry Leadership Program (MLP) for those with passing grades ($50/month scholarship) and those with A level grade ($100/month scholarship)

Total cost for a four-year degree (bachelor’s) plus all MLP expenses: ~$28,000 (Associates degree ~$15,000)

Housing is available for out-of-state/city students for an additional $300.00/month.
