Untraditional is a word RMSM embraces. Our programs are not like your conventional college education, but it does result in the same accomplishment (an accredited degree) and more! RMSM has two distinct programs, one offered for full-time college students, and a part-time program for those who work full time or have children they are raising. Here is the big picture of how RMSM works, with detailed differences and explanations on our academic and school of ministry tabs.
- The Full Time-Program Overview (The full college experience geared towards college aged students)
RMSM is a Regional School of Leadership (R-SOL) in Church of God (TN) and is partnered with Lee University (TN) to provide affordable degrees for those attending RMSM. Why does this partnership exist? Lee University and Church of God (TN) desire for men and women to not only earn their degree, but be trained to serve God and be grounded in their faith, which is the mission of RMSM. Students at RMSM have a mix of online courses from Lee University (with a 50% discount from their normal price) and a series of in person classes, internships, and adventures, which generate credits to be put towards your degree for far cheaper than any other reoute. RMSM has four emphases (see four emphases for more detail) to our programs:
- Academics: A mix of online and in-person courses, resulting in your accredited degree.
- Adventure: RMSM uses nature and the outdoors to disciple students, build a close knit team, and ignite a sense of wonder in our students.
- Apologetics: All students are taught to defend their faith and be grounded in the truth of Gods Word, accomplished though classes and traveling to specific educational sites.
- Apprenticeship: Students learn to do ministry, learn how God has designed them, and earn credits for their degree in the process. Students can also be ordained in Church of God through their apprenticeship and courses taught at RMSM.
Full time students can hold a part time job to help pay for their schooling, RMSM will assist in finding students jobs if they are struggling to find one.
